Valhalla Crossing, where good friends meet good food, is located in the historic Valhalla Train Station on the Taconic Parkway close to the Kensico Dam. We are known for our plentiful portions of great comfort food, the BEST burgers, huge fresh salads, and creative sandwiches! We serve lunch and dinner 6 days a week (closed Mondays). GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS: We have a dedicated gluten free fryer and take all precautions to avoid gluten cross-contamination. Being that we have GF wraps, wedges, hamburger buns, pasta, pizza, bread crumbs, and flour we are able to adjust many (but not all) menu items and prepare them gluten free. Please inquire upon ordering.
Our restaurant ambiance is cozy and charming with its eclectic decor. A 1910 B&O caboose and an 1896 Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railway car are used as dining cars. The original train station building along with its huge A-frame ceiling and wide-planked floors is the current bar. Our beautiful oak bar was built in 1903 for Bronxville’s Hotel Gramatan. Dine in our Victorian dining room, antique Presidential Car, authentic caboose, or trackside dining room. Seasonal outdoor deck dining available.
